Following pursuit of her own choreography she lived in Queensland, Australia for a year performing and presenting her work along the eastern coast. Since returning to the states, Christy has continued performing and choreographing independently under the name Wandering Limbs Dance. She has been an adjunct professor in Skidmore College's Dance Department since 2015 and is the Program Manager at The Corporation of Yaddo, the renown artist colony in Saratoga Springs.
