Welcome to our new website!

We have lots of exciting things going on this summer.  Christy Williams/XT Danscollective and Angela Conte just finished up a successful performance last weekend at University Settlement in New York City.  The performance, titled Six Degrees of Separation, featured six choreographers who can trace their connections to each other through fewer than six dancers. Cecly Placenti who produced the show intends to make it an annual event.  The theme for this year was "How we respond to injustice."  Congrats to Angie and Christy on a successful show!

Saturday August 4th at 8pm and Sunday August 5th at 2pm, we have Norristown DanceFest produced by our own Melissa Chisena/Chisena Danza.  Now in it's fourth year, the festival was created to promote the arts in one of Philadelphia's culturally growing suburbs. Angela Conte will be presenting a duet that was created at our meeting this past May.  The duet will be danced by Melissa Chisena and Jennifer Yackel.  Melissa will present a solo, Ave Maria, that was also worked on at our last meeting.  The performance will be at the Montgomery County Cultural Center in Norristown, PA.  Click here for tickets!
