Christy Williams, who has been in Australia for a mere month has already been a part of three different shows! The most recent was this past weekend, presenting her own work for Australian Dance Theatre’s Rough Draft. She has also performed at the Brisbane Festival with choreographers Tina Dobaj Eder and Gregor Kamnikar from Slovenia and she presented her most recent solo, Salt, for a choreographer's showcase in Adelaide.
Melissa Chisena and Jennifer Yackel are stirring things up in Philadelphia this weekend with Mixed Drinks, a performance consisting of 30 Choreographers and 30 Composers creating 2 minute works, and then being paired up at random! Melissa and Jennifer will also be performing their most recent solos created at NADINE for the InHale Performance Series, Friday October 19th.
Daniel Fetecua Soto's company Pajarillo Pinta’o, just finished up with the Bella Vista Project, a week long festival in commemoration of the 10th anniversary from the massacre of Bella Vista, Bojaya, in the Pacific Coast of Colombia. The festival ran October 3rd-7th with two performances at Flushing Town Hall in NYC. This project was three years in the making including research, study, and creative process.
Angela Conte's company, Angie Moon Dance Theatre had a successful performance in London this past August!
Julia Kelly continues to make new movement every week in an improvisation-based practice with Benn Rasmussen/Ardent August in New York. She recently performed at Lincoln Center with the Limón Dance Company and the 100 voices of The Simón Bolívar National Youth Choir in Limón's seminal Missa Brevis.
